During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Chandra passed through the fourth, fifth, and sixth eclipses of the season on Jul 1, 4, and 6 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. A real-time procedure was executed on Jul 6 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of Jupiter coordinated with Juno, XMM-Newton, and NuSTAR, an observation of Sgr A* coordinated with Spitzer, an observation of CXO J164710.2-455216 coordinated with NuSTAR, and an observation of SDSS J110731.23+13471, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Jun 29. |
