During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
Chandra passed through the final two eclipses of the 2006 winter season on Jan 14 and 17 with nominal power and thermal performance. A real-time procedure was executed on Jan 17 to disable SCS 29 as a standard action following the eclipse season. A realtime procedure was completed on Jan 18 to update the on-board Ephemeris. Of note last week was the conduct on Jan 18 of the 2006 Chandra Fellows Peer Review. The schedule of targets for next week is shown below. |
