Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 27 January 2006 9.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A Chandra image release of the Cartwheel Galaxy was issued on 11 January. This image combines data from four different observatories: Chandra (X-ray), GALEX (UV), HST (visible) and Spitzer (IR). Further details can be found at: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2006/cartwheel/

The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes 20 observations of shallow survey of 1 sq. degree in the ELAIS-N1 field. This is the first to be observed as part of the SWIRE Spitzer legacy program.
