During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Chandra passed through the 17th, 18th, and 19th eclipses of the season on Nov 12, Nov 14, and Nov 17 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. Of note this week was the release on Nov 15 of CalDB version 4.10.2. The CalDB update includes ACIS Contamination Model (CONTAM) version N0015, which accounts for the measured contamination increase during 2020-2022. For details see: https://cxc.cfa.harvard.edu/caldb/downloads/Release_notes/CALDB_v4.10.2.html The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of DECALS2157-4201, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Oct 7, observations of GRB220219B, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Nov 2, and an observation of AT2022tsd, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Oct 7 and is coordinated with NuSTAR. |
