During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Of note this week was the announcement on Jan 25 that the Chandra science and engineering teams are preparing to return the HRC to use for science observations. Current plans are to begin scheduling HRC observations in the regular spacecraft loads beginning with the week of 06 March 2023, although some testing of the schedule generation is still underway. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of AT2022tsd, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Oct 7, and is coordinated with NuStar and an observation of DGPS J160716.9-52081, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Oct 6. |
