During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
A real-time procedure was executed on 6 March to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. A Chandra image release of the spiral galaxy NGC 2841 was issued on 6 March. The Chandra image shows multimillion degree gas rising above the disk of stars and cooler gas. For details see: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2006/n2841/ The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes an observation of XTE J1817-330 coordinated with both RXTE and the VLA. |
