During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. Real-time procedures were executed on Apr 5 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer and to perform a diagnostic dump of the Control Processing Electronics (CPE). Chandra passed through the 14th, 15th, and 16th eclipses of the season on Apr 1, Apr 3, and Apr 6 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. Of note this week, following completion of the process for returning the High Resolution Camera (HRC) to science operations after the 15V power supply anomaly, HRC observations have been included in the load planned for the next week. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of TIC420112589, which was accepted as a Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity on Sep 13, an observation of SN2012ap, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Dec 27 and is coordinated with NuSTAR, observations of WISEAJ045649.8-2037, which are follow-ups to Director's Discretionary Time Targets of Opportunity accepted on Mar 2, and observations of SgrA* coordinated with NuSTAR and the Event Horizon Telescope. |
