During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
Analysis was completed prior to the lunar eclipse that will occur on 24 August. Possible actions include connecting the batteries, off-pointing the solar arrays and implementing additional power loads, however, for this eclipse, modeling and comparison with prior eclipse data indicates that no action is required. Assessment of the data from the aspect camera dark current calibration performed on August 7 indicated an expected rate of increase in warm pixels. The schedule of targets for next week is shown below. |
