Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 20 October 2006 9.00am EDT

Operations CXO Status Report, Friday 20 October 2006, 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

A fixed overflow error was recorded in the OBC error log on October 15 coincident with the uplink of one of the weekly loads. The error was not readily explainable by any ground to space or on-board behavior and yielded the load suspect. The load was dumped and re-uplinked on October 16 and a subsequent compare indicated no corruption. The overflow error will continue to be investigated.

The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes an observation of the out-of-cycle Target of Opportunity CXO J164710.2-455216.
