Friday 9 February 2007 7.30am EDT
During the last week the observing schedule was replanned to include a
20 Ks observation of the X-ray pulsar 4U 0142+61 TOO following the
detection of a large burst. The source was accepted as a fast
turn-around Target Of Opportunity (TOO) on 7 January and loads were
replanned and uplinked on 9 January. The observation was accommodated
by shortening an observation of G1.9+0.3.
Real-time procedures were executed on February 8 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) sequencer and to update the on-board ephemeris. The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes an observation of M87 coordinated with HST. |
