Operations CXO Status Report

Thursday 14 October 1999 10.00am EST

During the last 24 hours Chandra passed through the radiation belts, performed a post belt ACIS CTI measurement and began the GTO observation of PKS 0745-191 with ACIS-S and the HETG. During the next 24 hours observations of PKS 0745-191 and A2256 will be completed and the long observation of the Chandra Deep Field with ACIS-I will commence.

The current mission schedule will continue until 12AM 10/16 and the next weekly schedule is in review.

The spacecraft systems continued to operate nominally.
