| During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
An image release was made on Aug 13 of the galaxy cluster Abell 2125 that reveals a complex of several massive multimillion-degree-Celsius gas clouds in the process of merging. For details see: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2004/a2125/ The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of the Target of Opportunity 4U 1630-472 coordinated with the VLA, RXTE and INTEGRAL. |
