During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
A real-time procedure was conducted on Aug 28 to uplink new daily loads to the spacecraft. The previously running loads had been stopped due to one incorrect load segment have been loaded as reported last week. A second real-time procedure was executed on Sep 2 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes the first use of the HETG since the HETG retract switch anomaly of July 7 and an observation of NGC7457 coordinated with the VLA. |
