During the last week the observing schedule was replanned to include a
33.5 ks observation of the source SGR 1833-0833 that was accepted as a
Target of Opportunity on Mar 20. Time taken from a Chandra Deep Filed
South observation will be added to a later segment. The replacement
loads were uplinked on Mar 21.
A real-time procedure was executed on Mar 19 to update the on-board ephemeris. As noted last week, the Chandra Cycle 12 proposal deadline was March 18. The initial count shows 676 GO proposals were received in addition to 47 GTO proposals, comparable to Cycle 11. The total time oversubscription factor for the Cycle is approximately five. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes a Target of Opportunity observation of GRB100316d. |
