During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
A real-time procedure was executed on Apr 6 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. A second real-time procedure was executed on Apr 7 to patch the ACIS flight software. The new version (48, Standard E, Optional E) includes code changes that address issues such as errors in identifying bad pixels in sub-array mode and preventing a Back End Processor reset on Front End Processor powerdown while its bias map is copied to telemetry packets. Of note this week was the release on Apr 5 of CALDB 4.2.1. This update includes ACIS time-dependent gain corrections for the period Nov 2009 through Jan 2010, updated ACIS blank-sky backgrounds, and updated LETG grating efficiencies. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below |
