Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 18 June 2010 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Chandra passed through the fourteenth, fifteenth, and sixteenth eclipses of the 2010 summer season on June 12, 15, and 17 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance.

A real-time procedure was executed on June 15 to set the short eclipse flag to "true" in preparation for the final two eclipses of the season.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes a DDT observation of the source GRB100615A, which was approved as a target of opportunity on June 16.
