During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
Of note this week was the "Accretion Processes in X-Rays: From White Drawfs to Quasars" science workshop being held in Boston. Also of note this week was the announcement on Jul 13 of the Cycle 12 Peer Review recommended programs. For details see: http://cxc.harvard.edu/target_lists/cycle12/index.html The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes DDT observations of the source Cyg X-1 coordinated with RXTE, which was approved as a target of opportunity on Jul 14, observations of GX17+2 and GX13+1 coordinated with RXTE and and observation of TOO_XTEJ1752-223 coordinated with the VLA. |
