During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.
Chandra passed through the eleventh (and final) eclipse of the fall season on Nov 28 with nominal power and thermal performance. Real-time procedures were executed on Nov 29 to disable SCS 29 and on Dec 2 to dump the EPS glitch counters as post-eclipse season actions. A real-time procedure was executed on Dec 1 to perform a routine self-check of the Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. A real-time procedure was completed on Dec 2 to update the on-board ephemeris. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes observations of SN2010jl, which was accepted as a target of opportunity on Nov 11, and of SN2010jr, which was accepted as a target of opportunity on Nov 19. |
