Operations CXO Status Report
During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as
planned.
A flight software patch was uplinked on Dec 6 to remove the EPHIN E150
channel from use within the on-board RadMon process for the detection
of a high-radiation environment. This patch eliminates the possibility
of a false trigger due thermally induced noise in the channel.
Real-time procedures were executed on Dec 7 to dump OBC-A memory as a
follow-up to the patch. The dump will be used to update the baseline
memory image maintained on the ground. An additional real-time
procedure was executed on Dec 7 to perform a routine self-check of the
Electrical Interface Assembly (EIA) Sequencer. A real-time procedure
was executed on Dec 8 to update the on-board ephemeris.
Of note this week was the release on Dec 2 of CALDB 4.4.6.1. This
release provides an update to the HETG grating efficiency file. For
