During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Chandra passed through the twentieth and twenty-first (final) eclipses of the season on May 5 and 8 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. Real-time procedures were executed on May 8 to set the short eclipse flag to "false", to disable SCS-29, and to dump and clear the EPS glitch counters as post-eclipse season actions.

A real-time procedure was executed on May 10 to update the on-board ephemeris.

A Chandra press release was issued on May 9 as a JPL press release describing evidence that galaxies with the most powerful, active, supermassive black holes at their cores produce fewer stars than galaxies with less active black holes. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of MAXI J0556-332, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on May 8, observations of Sgr A* coordinated with several ground-based observatories, and an observation of KIC11560431 coordinated with HST.
