Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 13 December 2013 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Of note this week was the release on Dec 12 of the Cycle 16 Call for Proposals. The proposal submission deadline is 13 March 2014. In conjunction with the call was the release of the CIAO 4.6 analysis software system and of CXCDS 10.2 for standard processing. The release includes several tool enhancements/updates. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes a follow-up observation of SN 2013ej, which was accepted as a Target of Opportunity on Sep 4.
