During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. An aspect camera dark current calibration was performed from the on-board loads on Feb 17. An assessment of the data indicates nominal aspect camera performance and that the warm pixel counts continue to trend along a line consistent with a slight drop in warm pixel fraction attributed to CCD annealing during the 2015 Sep 21 safe mode. A real-time procedure was executed on Feb 25 to monitor for degradation of the EEPROM from the active ACIS Back-end Processor. The procedure ran nominally and no evidence for degradations was detected. The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes an observation of SN2016G, which is a follow-up to a Target of Opportunity accepted on Jan 11, an observation of HD97658, which is a follow-up Director's Discretionary Time Target of Opportunity accepted on Dec 3 and is coordinated with HST, and an observation of V Zw 232 Notes 02 coordinated with NuSTAR. |
